The Dreamer of The Day Program: This program derives it's name from the famous quote from Lawrence of Arabia asking people to dream with their eyes wide open.

A.I.E.  will work with the school to use books and pieces of literature from their current syllabus and synthesize them with the presentation.

Mr. Arauz will show through his own journey the power of goals and education to create a life of full dreams and possibility.

Mr. Arauz engages the student body with his powerful speaking style, his sense of humor and boundless compassion to wake them up to themselves. He journeys fearlessly into himself bringing the students with him. Before they know it they are journeying into themselves and Mr. Arauz shows them they are perfect as they are. He uses his presentation to relate to students of all ages from 14-50 and let them know they are not alone.

As a modern day Virgil to the students Dante, he will journey with them and show the various literary, spiritual and musical works throughout time that chronical this same journey to self.

Mr. Arauz will key on a student's ability to transgress their own limiting ideas and preconceptions to live a life of possibility dictated by action not idea.

Mr. Arauz specifically uses the W.E.B. DuBois book, The Souls of Black Folk and his discussion of the 'double veil of consciousness"; Rudyard Kipling's Kim and it's discussion on masks to the self; and Jiddu Krishnamurti's collective works to examine the nature of fear and how to take true revolutionary action in one's own life.

 It is designed to wake students up to themselves and to start questioning where they are getting their sense of self from now.

This presentaion allows Eric to show the students the true message behind the classic works they are reading and how they can be applied to their lives now as he did to his.  Each school that has had the presentation has truly enjoyed it. Teachers have reported the message resonating with the students months after the presentation.
