Thank you for your service. As a disabled Navy veteran from Operation Desert Shield, I did not want to admit I had a problem and almost did not accept treatment until it was fatal.

You have stepped up and served this great country and you deserve the necessary supports to fight back and live life.

I am in no way anything more than the physical manifestation of the best efforts of the collective supports in my state for mental illness and addiction. Anything I have accomplished can be eclipsed by your best efforts.

Please do not wait and end up like my biological father. He was an Army veteran that fell through the cracks of society and perished alone and ill without knowing his children or sanity for over a decade.
